This HD Sportster Cafe Racer, has been one of the most successful motorcycles transformed byLord Drake Kustoms, so we had to make two equal units: one for the dealer Harley Davidson Siebla Malaga and one for the dealership Harley-Davidson Capital Brussels.
The Stormracer is one of the first Cafe Racer motorcycles made byLDK, inspired by racing cars John Player Special. The first unit, once finalized at the Harley workshop in Malaga by Lord DrakeKustoms, went to Belgium, specifically to the dealer Harley-Davidson Capital Brussels who soon had been sold to a customer.
A short time later, when Fran Manen began transforming Harley motorcycles for the dealer Harley Siebla, he had to make a second unit, since the owner of the official dealer wanted another one to display and sell it at his Malaga Harley store.
The transformation of this Sportster Cafe Racer
Without any doubt, this Sportster Cafe Racer stands out for its elegance. The impressive paint and airbrushing job of this custom bike inspired by John Player Special colors hasIt been of a high level that has been able to combine different types of black to give it more detail to the work, without losing elegance.
A black gloss has been combined with black with gold pearl and all this darkness has been highlighted and detailed with pinstriping and logos of the fuel tank in gold. Another element to highlight in this Harley Davidson Sportster 883 custom is the modification made on a Sportster Custom fuel tank.
Harley sprung seat, permanentlyinstalled and springless, upholstered in black leather. Sportster R wheels, air filter and exhausts, handlebars, rear fenders, pilot and other elements make up this spectacular Harley Cafe Racer “Stormracer” .

This Sportster Scrambler Flat Track is the first Harley transformed by Lord Drake Kustoms in tribute to the famous Evel Knievel. Although this motorcycle has been transformed into the Harley workshop in Malaga, it has gone to the roads of France.
A man from France contacted Fran Manen (owner of LDK) almost a year ago; Just out of the Sportster Scrambler “Soulbreaker”. The man was interested in that type of Scrambler motorcycle and the work of LDK.
Meanwhile, in Lord Drake Kustoms they tried to do something new. A Harley Scrambler or Flat Track type but with a motorcycle airbrush more striking. One day, Fran Manen was sketching several ideas and graphics to make a Sportster Scramblertribute to Evel Knievel (to the great American legend).
An important detail is that, as in other works of LDK, in this transformed motorcycle the son of Fran (Álvaro Manén with only 9 years) was the main designer of all the painting and airbrush work on this motorcycle.
As always, he sent it to his contacts, clients and/or potential clients interested in the project he had just put on paper … and then the luck appeared … Michel (the famous French lord) saw the drawings and said: “That is the bike I want! the one you sent me in drawing, the tribute to Evel Knievel“.
As he said, the current owner of the motorcycle, got on a plane to fly from France to meet Fran Manen and his Custom and Harley workshop in Malaga. Of course, the details were finalized to begin the project that would be carried out on abase Sportster 1200 custom from 2005.
After the meeting and the meticulous study of the 3 paper sketches that were initially made, the final sketch that would have to become a reality was obtained. And that was what happened two months later: the new “Evel Knievel” motorcycle, a Scrambler motorcycle manufactured by Lord Drake Kustoms, was released.

The “SPORTRACKER” is a Harley Davidson Scrambler with V-Twin core and HD Sportster 1200 custom base. Manufactured by Lord Drake Kustoms in his Harley Davidson workshop in Malaga and which is probably one of the best motorcycle transformation workshops in Spain.
After the success obtained with the Sportster Scrambler “Soulbreaker” (a Harley Scrambler made on another Sportster 1200), the owner of LDK, Fran Manen, decided to make a new version of this bike but somewhat less sophisticated.
The process of creating this Harley Davidson Scrambler “Sportracker”
The base chosen is a Sportster of carburetion 2005. It began using very simple wheels, 40 spokes in black gloss and kept the odometer on the handlebars like the oldest motorcycles, with nothing of digital elements as in the previous Scrambler.
All the graphic design and the work of painting and airbrushing of this motorcycle is very simple. The colors (white, black and orange details) were chosen by his eldest son (who was born in 2005) and hence the number “05” of the side plates.
The rear fender with the integrated pilot, as well as the front fender and the side numbers are handmade by Lord Drake Kustoms.
Next Sportster Scrambler Kit
Fran Manen tells us that soon they will start offering a Scrambler kit for Sportster and parts manufactured by LDK, so that any owner of a Sportster can turn it into a Street Tracker, Scrambler or Flat Track motorcycle.
The “Sportracker” is a custom motorcycle that has been built in the new motorcycle transformation workshop in Spain that is newly opened by Lord Drake Kustoms to cover its customers in Europe.

A Triumph Cafe Racer full of details in its manufacture
This time a 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 was the base chosen by Fran to make this Cafe Racer motorcycle. Whole back was made by hand from a metal sheet, using intermittent lenses of Harley Davidson touringmodels to manufacture the taillights.
The rear turn signals were integrated into the chassis tubes, which were cut and modified. The seat, chain cover, exhaust pipes and handlebars were also manufactured at LDK facilities.
Awards and a luxury owner
His first departure from the Lord Drake Kustoms workshop in Miami, was to get on a truck and go to the edition of the prestigious Custom Rat’s Hole Bike Show held in Leesburg Bikefest in 2013.
The result couldn’t be better; the second position in the Cafe Racer motorcycle category.
And it wasn’t first because it had a great competitor who snatched the first place … its older sister Harley Dyna Cafe Racer “Red Baron”.
A tribute to the great movie, to a great actor such as Al Pacino and to the city where Fran currently live: Miami. In addition, nowadays this Triumph Bonneville Cafe Racer rolls through the streets of Hollywood where its owner Tom Kaulitz (guitarist of the rock group Tokio Hotel) resides.

A long time ago, Fran Manen (owner of Lord Drake Kustoms) listened to his good friend John talking about his idea to do a Harley Evel Knievel in his LDK motorcycle workshop transformation in Malaga.
One afternoon they were chatting about the new electric bicycles and suddenly the “Evel Knievel” spark that had been out for some time jumped. “It’s time to do something with more gas” and that was when John commissioned Lord Drake Kustoms to begin shaping Daredevil from Evel Knievel, a Scrambler motorcycle tribute to the famous American jumper.
This is how the return trip from “DAREDEVIL” to earth began!
The base would be a Sportster 1200, but this time the acronym HD did not mean Harley Davidson… they said “Harley Daredevil” … that fits like a glove.
To give an air Sportster Scrambler more retro, the modified Peanut-style tank was combined with a 21″ front tire. The graphics and colors were very easy to choose: the helmet and cape served as inspiration.
As always, there were three requirements by LDK in its motorcycles: Simplicity, Elegance and Class … “Less is More”.
Currently, this Harley transformed with Scrambler style and perfectly reminiscent of an Evel Knievel motorcycle, is located in Belgium where its owner has sent it to attend various events related to the world of two wheels.

At the beginning of 2016, Lord Drake Kustoms presented a new line of Scrambler motorcyclescalled “Bultracker”. With this new line of motorcycle transformation, we wanted to offer other Harley Scrambler, somewhat different and with a “more retro look” to the previous range (the “Sportracker“).
A Harley Scrambler with great interest in Harley Davidson dealers throughout Europe
The first of these was the “Bultracker 13“, which before being finished had already been acquired by a Harley Davidson dealership in Belgium, so Fran Manen, the owner of LDK, decided to make another immediately. This second Sportster Scrambler, called “Bultracker 17“,also found an owner in Central Europe as soon as it was finished.
But the latter would be the unit that aroused the interest of the owner of the Harley Davidson Siebla dealership in Malaga. The owners of the two companies (Lord Drake Kustoms and Harley Davidson Siebla), after meeting each other, reached a joint work agreement.
A few months later, the Harley Davidson dealership in Malaga would entrust LDK with two transformed bikes with a Sportster 883 base (a Harley Cafe Racer and a Harley Scrambler: the “Bultracker 04 Siebla“.
The construction process of this Harley Scrambler
This new Scrambler, reminiscent models of older off-road motorcycles. It stands out for its 21″ front wheel, greater height, more retro-looking tank and more classic and elegant colors (in this case red wine candy and silver). The number “04 “, is for the 4th anniversary of the motorcycles company Siebla who owns the brand Harley-Davidson in Malaga.
For a few years, Lord Drake Kustoms is the company responsible for modifying and making custom motorcycles for several dealers of the American brand. Two of these dealerships Harley are in Miami (USA) where LDK has been in operation for almost eight years.
And since the opening of their new motorcycle transformation workshop in Spain (Malaga), almost two years ago, they made custom motorcycles for two Triumph dealers (one in England and one in Belgium) and Harley dealers in Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg.

An old Harley Night Rod in disrepair
This time, the chosen one was a Harley Davidson Vrod Nightrod of the year 2005 who was in a bad state. Its owner (a prestigious child surgeon, resident in Miami) wanted to return his Vrod to a more decent state and loved the color black … then the idea of “BAT” emerged: simple, elegant and striking.
At the same time the owner wanted to keep the essence of the machine, the bike had to look like a Vrod, but to another level! For Fran Manen (owner of Lord Drake Kustoms in Miami) was already clear and it was time to start working.
The process of customizing this Harley Night Rod
LDK, modified the original front fender and built a new cover for the air filter to embed the clocks. Also, he installed an original 240-wheel rear wheel kit and replaced the turrets to give a more comfortable ride. Finally, this two-wheeled vampire emerged … “BAT Nigthrod“

In the purest style, without this Yamaha Cafe Racer losing the classic touch and doing something different at the same time. Especially elegant, very elegant … a custom motorcycle to admire.
For this, he has chosen a very special motorcycle like the Yamaha XS650. But, in addition, to give it more exclusivity, he chose the Triple USA Custom model. It is one of the limited three-cylinder models of these XS that was only marketed in the USA; and where this unit came from.
The transformation process of this Yamaha Cafe Racer “Cream”
The Cafe Racer style rear tail is made of metal and hand-made in the image and likeness of the fuel tank. The rear turn signals have been embedded in the bars of the chassis, which was cut and the front suspension was shortened to give the general line to this motorcycle.
Firestone Deluxe Champion tires were usedto give it a more retro look. For the painting and airbrushing of this motorcycle, cream color for the base has been chosen (hence its name “CREAM”) that has been applied with powder coating on the chassis and other elements of the motorcycle by the company Metal Colors.
The base color has been combined with other elements painted in copper candy and also by applying powder coating on elements such as tires, controls, engine covers, etc.
The result was this beautiful Yamaha Cafe Racer that has led to the LordDrake Kustoms workshop, make changes to their concept to adapt to the market of custom motorcycles in Spain. A challenge for the inauguration of its second Cafe Racer workshop in Spanish lands, since in Miami where it has its headquarters, the style and market is totally different.
