The new BMW R12 Nine T Café Racer created by Lord Drake Kustoms is a modern reinterpretation of one of BMW Motorrad’s most iconic models. Starting with a 2025 BMW R12 Nine T, the team has developed a custom build that combines elegance, sportiness, and a clear racing spirit, inspired by classic café racers but with a contemporary and meticulously crafted aesthetic.

The aim of this modification was to enhance the sporty character of the R12 Nine T, refining its lines and reinforcing its visual personality. The result is a motorcycle with a more aggressive riding position, a more compact design, and a very distinctive presence thanks to elements such as the racing-style front fairing, the red frame, and a balanced overall look that conveys exclusivity from every angle.

BASED ON A VROD VRSCA

This stunning custom build takes as its starting point an original Harley-Davidson VRSCA V-Rod, the iconic model produced between 2002 and 2006 that broke the mold for the Milwaukee brand with its water-cooled Revolution engine. Keeping the heart of that beast, LDK has stripped the bike of its classic, stately early 2000s appearance—characterized by its disc wheels and chrome finishes—to give it a completely new, much more muscular and contemporary look, transforming an occasional touring bike into a true asphalt predator.

The first thing that catches the eye is the imposing 260mm rear wheel, which gives this project its name and required a precise adaptation of the rear suspension.
