In the world of custom motorcycles, Lord Drake Kustoms is a brand that has always stood out for its unique style and attention to detail. In 2022 our company has released some seriously impressive bikes that we are excited to share with you all.
So, once the year is over, we are going to review the 21 best custom motorcycles that LDK has manufactured throughout all of this 2022.
BOBBER ARMY
First on our list is the Sportster Bobber Army. This has been one of the bikes that our fans liked the most this year. It is a motorcycle that came directly from a Harley dealer to our customization workshop. The base model was a 2021 Sportster 48 Forty Eight and we have turned it into a nice Bobber with a “retro” feel, in the style of the old military Harleys used in the war.
This BMW R18 “BOBBER STEEL” has been the first R18 that we have modified but not the last because we have already worked on customizing two other motorcycles of the same model from the German brand.
YAMAHA XT BLUE
This Yamaha Scrambler is the third XT 600 that Lord Drake Kustoms has recently transformed in Spain and this time they have achieved an authentic scrambler motorcycle with a mythical base with the Yamaha XT 600 from the late 90s.
VROD 330
The used base used for this 330 VROD was a 2014 Harley Davidson Nightrod Special.
BMW R BRASS
This new convertedBMW R “BRASS” has a mix of scrambler, bobber and cafe racer motorcycle styles. The base model is a BMW R45 and stands out for having its own identity that is given by the combination of colors used and by the combination of motorcycle transformation styles it represents: Cafe Racer for its clip-on handlebars, Scrambler for its knobby tires and Bobber for its your seat and back.
SPORTSTER GULF
This Sportster Bobber has been carefully modified from start to finish. A shorter handcrafted front fender, bobber rear fender for Harley Sportster fitted to the wheel with highly detailed handcrafted brackets have been installed.
BMW BABY BLUE
BMW “BABYBLUE” is the name we have given to this mix of BMW cafe racer and scramblercustomized. The motorcycle transformed in this case has been a BMW R100 that mixes components from very different custom motorcycle styles, such as the cafe racer and the scrambler.
SPORTSTER GRAYRACER
The base transformed motorcycle has been a Sportster Iron 883. As for the style of customization of a bike like this, basically we can say that it is a cafe racer motorcycle modified on a Harley Sportster.
BMW R18 BOBBER BLACK
Lord Drake Kustoms received this BMW R18 from its owner, to be a completely modified motorcycle. But with one condition; and it is that it had to maintain the original black color, with white lines and chrome components.
SPORTSTER BOBBER 02
This custom motorcyclecame to us from the North of Spain and its owner wanted an authentic Harley Davidson bobber, but with more spectacular looking and size rims… and above all he wanted to keep thecolors and graphics of the original Sportster penaut gas tank. The base model is a 2002 Harley Davidson Sportster that we have done a real Bobber bike modification job on.
BMW R SPORT EDITION
The BMW SURVIVOR broke the mold when it was presented to the public and proof of this is that several units of the limited edition have already been sold in just 8 months. But we realized that the motorcycle is very successful but it is a cafe racer motorcycle for a very small audience due to its exclusivity and high cost; It is also a custom bike more for a museum than to ride with it. For this reason, we decided to release a cheaper version and, above all, more versatile and for the street… that’s where the new BMW R SPORT EDITION was born.
SPORTSTER BOBBER GREEN 69
Lord Drake Kustoms received this previously customized Sportster 1200in an artisanal and very precarious way from a Madrid client. Its owner wanted to keep the original rims and engine chrome and also wanted the bike to be green. The rest was basically left to Lord Drake Kustoms.
BMW K100 M SCRAMBLER
This BMW K100 “M SCRAMBLER” has been dressed in the colors of the “M” edition of the cars of the German brand. Its owner wanted it to be a scrambler-style motorcycle but as low as possible, with country tires and above all the seat had to be red and the fuel tank in the colors of BMW M.
VROD BLACK WIDOW
For this VROD Black Widow , a Harley Vrod Street has been used as a base,a custom model of the American brand that is somewhat different from the rest of the first Vrods and that was also characterized by being taller and having intermediate foot controls and by having a nice inverted hairpin.
FATBOT AIRWHITE
Lord Drake Kustoms was commissioned by a client who already had this 2011 Harley Fat Boy and who wanted to give it a touch of an exclusive and transformed motorcycle but with a very important premise… it had to keep the two seats and be as comfortable as possible for the rider. passenger.
VICTORY HAMMER
Lord Drake Kustoms does not usually say “NO” and this time we have shown it with the customization of this Victory Hammer 8 Ball that his client was about to sell because he thought that it could not be modified or transformed into something more attractive.
SPORTSTER BOBBER GLOSS BLACK
This Sportster bobber has been customized on a 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster Low that had been in an accident. Its owner wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to repair the damage and keep it original; turn it into a single-seater bobber bike.
SOFTAIL BOBBER STANDARD
The exact model that we have used for this bobber style motorcycle modificationhas been the new Harley Softail Standard of the year 2020. A powerful beast from the American motorcycle brand with a Milwaukee-Eight engine and a displacement of 1750 cc… in addition to the new chassis with a damping system different from that of the classic softail models.
BMW 1150R SCRAMBLER
On this occasion, we have achieved a brutal, strong and tough looking BMW Scrambler. All this, despite the fact that the R1150R models and their little sister the R850R, are perhaps somewhat complicated motorcycles to use as a basis for a good motorcycle transformation, (due to their fuel tank and front suspension system).
Canal Sur, the Andalusian television program “Los Repobladores” has made an in-depth report on Fran Manen. This program seeks Andalusians who have returned to their homeland to continue developing their activity or a new one. These are people who have succeeded in other parts of the world and decided to return to their roots.
The report covers Fran’s life and also shows the people close to him in his life, such as his family, his workers and his friends, as they travel through picturesque places in his region.
The program aired on January 1, 2023 and can be viewed below.
This DUCATI S4R “NEORACER” is not the first motorcycle of the Italian brand that Lord Drake Kustoms has customized in his motorcycle transformation workshop in Spain, although it is one of the most striking modification jobs on a Ducati motorcycle that he has done so far.
A MODERN AND SPORTY CAFE RACER
To carry out the work on this custom bike, Fran Manen (owner of Lord Drake Kustoms) has chosen a 2004 Ducati Monster S4R with its characteristic and beautiful single-sided swingarm as a base.
The first idea was to make a Ducati cafe racer in the purest classic style, but it was decided to change it for something less classic with an air that combined the style of cafe racer motorcycles with more modern and sporty airs.
Once completely disassembled, the first thing that has been done has been to modify the entire subframe and the rear part of the motorcycle. Subsequently, a license plate support with a side arm has been manufactured and both the front and rear suspensions have been modified.Handcrafted seat
License plate support and rear suspension
A completely handmade seat has been manufactured and clip-on handlebars have been installed to give this DUCATI S4R “NEORACER” a more radical look and position.
Handcrafted seat
Motogadget M Blaze turn signals at the ends of the Biltwell grips, led headlight and custom exhaust are other details to highlight. Although the icing on the cake are the impressive spoked wheels for Ducati, custom made for this Monster S4R custom.
The front suspension legs have been anodized in gold, the chassis and other components have been painted in matt black (with baked electrostatic powder coating).
And finally, the tank and fenders in matt graphite gray to give the brutal and elegant appearance to this modification work on a Ducati Monster.
Homologation
Finally, and all this in Lord Drake Kustoms; We have carried out the homologation of the reforms for Spain of a cafe racer motorcycle or rather “Neoracer” as we call this DUCATI S4R NEORACER.

This beautiful SPORTSTER BOBBER GOLDBLACK is the result of a Harley Sportster 1200 transformation by Fran Manen and his team at Lord Drake Kustoms.
BASED ON A SPORTSTER 1200
Some people think that the base of this beautiful bobber bike is a Harley Davidson Forty Eight 48, but it’s not… it’s actually a Sportster 1200customised at the Lord Drake Kustomsmotorbike workshop in Spain.
Highlights include the 200 Sportster rear wheel fitted and the Harleybobber mudguard fully bonded to the tyre. The 16-inch front wheel with 130 tyre between wide seat posts and the original Sportster Forty Eightfuel tank complete the overall line of this Harley Bobber.

Front fender
Drag bar handlebars, a small spoiler keel, a Sportster bobber seat, LED indicators, front mudguards, exhaust pipes and air filter are some of the other components that make up the final look of the Sportster Bobber “GOLDBLACK”.
The paintwork is very elegant and simple… all gloss black with a few small gold details such as the graphics on the fuel tank and the pintriping on the mudguards or the headlight rim. Many of the parts have been painted in gloss black but using powdercoating at Metalcolors.
HOMOLOGATION
The end result is a very stylish and attractive Harley Davidson Bobber, which, with the wide rear wheel exposed and the silhouette of a modified Sportster Forty Eight, will leave no one unseen as it passes through the streets.
Finally our homologation department at Lord Drake Kustoms has been in charge of homologating the modifications made on a bobber bike for Spanish territory like this Sportster Bobber “GOLDBLACK”.
The Triumph Bonneville 1200 is a favorite base for retro-style transformations, and this time the team at Lord Drake Kustoms has created a spectacular Triumph 120 Brat, a motorcycle that combines classic British aesthetics with the urban and minimalist character of the brat style. The result is an elegant, compact machine with a strong visual personality.
Classic style with an urban attitude
In this project, the goal was to transform the original Bonneville into a lower, cleaner motorcycle with a continuous visual line from the tank to the rear. To achieve this, unnecessary elements were removed and several components were redesigned, resulting in a sportier and more minimalist silhouette while maintaining the classic DNA that characterizes Triumph Motorcycles.
The transformation focuses primarily on the rear of the motorcycle. A new, modified subframe has been installed, adapted to mount a completely straight brat-style seat that extends the line of the tank and provides a much cleaner, more horizontal aesthetic.
The seat has been hand-upholstered with diamond-pattern stitching, adding a handcrafted and elegant touch. Wider profile tires with a mixed tread pattern have also been fitted, reinforcing the motorcycle’s robust appearance.
Integrated turn signals
Custom seat
In addition, minimalist turn signals, a more compact lighting system, and satin black details have been added to enhance the dark and modern character of the whole.
The exhaust system has been redesigned with black headers and mufflers, giving it a more aggressive look that’s consistent with the brat style. The riding position remains comfortable thanks to a clean, minimalist handlebar and brown grips that perfectly complement the seat.
One of the most striking elements of this Triumph 120 Brat is its spectacular tank painted in an intense metallic orange color, a warm tone that contrasts perfectly with the rest of the components in black.
The glossy finish of the tank highlights the classic lines of the Bonneville, while the side panels and other parts maintain a more understated look. The classic Triumph logo has been retained to reinforce the bike’s vintage identity, creating a perfect balance between tradition and personalization.
The brown leather details on the seat and grips add a warm, handcrafted touch that perfectly complements the color of the tank, resulting in a motorcycle with a carefully crafted and coherent aesthetic in all its elements.
A brat with her own personality
With this Triumph 120 Brat, Lord Drake Kustoms once again demonstrates its ability to transform iconic motorcycles into unique pieces. The result is a motorcycle that respects the essence of the original Bonneville, but with a more aggressive, modern, and urban aesthetic.
A perfect build for those looking for a classic motorcycle, but with a strong custom personality and a style that doesn’t go unnoticed on the road.
On this occasion, we present the Sportster Bobber Black Cream, a Harley Davidson customised with the unmistakable style of Lord Drake Kustoms. This project, developed in the workshop in Malaga, Spain, represents more than 10 years of experience transforming motorbikes into true works of art.
Based on a Sportster 883 R
Fran Manen, founder of Lord Drake Kustoms, was given a fuel injected 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 R along with a general customisation idea that evolved as the work progressed. From the start, there was a clear goal: to fit a 200mm rear wheel combined with thick spoke rims, ideal for Harley motorbikes.
The Sportster Bobber Black Cream features a classic bobber design that incorporates unique details. A ‘hangman’ style handlebar was installed which, along with a Sportster Forty Eight tank and 21-inch front wheel, gives this Harley an unmistakable vintage feel.
Although the two-seater was retained, the rear wing was shortened to accentuate the bobber character, with the addition of 10.5-inch Burly shocks and a handmade side-arm number plate holder from the Lord Drake Kustoms team.
Other details include a relocated side-mounted odometer, LED turn signals under the button panels, Biltwell grips, spoiler, and a Sportster-specific air filter. Custom exhausts, wrapped in anti-heat tape, complete the functional and attractive design.
Handlebars hangman
Every element of the Sportster Bobber Black Cream was selected and fine-tuned. Major modifications include:
Cut-out front mudguard, which reinforces the minimalist character.
Installation of a 200 mm rear wheel and thick-spoke rims.
A handcrafted number plate holder, designed specifically for Harley Davidson.
10.5’ Burly shocks for a lower profile.
Handlebars with a retro and daring touch.
These improvements not only transform the appearance, but also optimise the driving experience.
The finish of the Sportster Bobber Black Cream is a true work of art. The paintwork combines a gloss black with a cream tone that is separated by delicate gold pinstripes.
The tank features classic Harley Davidson lettering and graphics, creating a perfect balance between tradition and modernity. This colour scheme not only stands out for its elegance, but also reinforces the unique identity of this custom bike.
A Unique Bobber Style Transformation
If you’re looking for a Harley Davidson that combines classic bobber styling with unique details, the Sportster Bobber Black Cream is the perfect example of the art of customisation.
The “BOBBER BROWN” is the new BMW R18 customised by Lord Drake Kustoms in his workshop in Velez Malaga (Spain).
Francisco Alí Manén, owner of LDK, received this BMW R18 from its owner and directly from the BMW dealer.
A BOBBER WITH A BOXER ENGINE
The idea was for it to be a fully modified Bobber style bike, but with one condition… it had to keep the original black colour with white lines… and chrome components.
Called “BOBBER BROWN”, this BMW R18 is quite a beast (aesthetically speaking) as, except for the original fuel tank, components have been touched on almost every part of the bike to turn it into a bobber with a boxer engine.
The rear, consisting of a mudguard attached to the wheel with metal tube side supports, a side-arm number plate holder made by LDK that locates the plate just behind the wheel and minimalist 3-in-1 lights with built-in Kellerman indicators.
The brown diamond-finish single seat, which gives the bike its name, and the seat mount for BMW R18 are also handcrafted at Lord Drake Kustoms.

At the front, a small front mudguard with metal tube mountings like the rear, new handlebars, mirrors at the ends of the grips and finally Motogadget M-Blaze disc indicators.

Our friends at COMOTOS.CO, a prestigious Colombian motorcycle online magazine, recently published a couple of articles about two of our custom Yamaha motorcycles.
On a Harley Davidson XL 1200 Forty Eight base, this bobber motorcycle called “SPORTSTER ARMY 48” has been created and modified by the Lord Drake Kustoms team in their motorcycle customization workshop in Spain.
A MILITARY HARLEY
The owner of LDK, Francisco Alí Manén, wanted to modify this Sportster Forty Eight keeping its essence and giving it a touch more retro and inspired by the old military Harleys… The result is a current version of what could be a Harley Armybobber style in these times.
In keeping with the spirit of the Sportster 48, the original wheels and fuel tank have been retained. The rest of this custom bike has been modified and transformed to a lesser or greater extent until this “SPORTSTER ARMY 48” became the bobber bike it is today.

Black 10.5-inch burly rear shocks, single-seat conversion, Rough Craft air cleaner, fender cutouts, front suspension modification, LED lighting and many other details have been shaping this bobber bike.
For the finish Fran Manen, decided that the bodywork should be painted in matte military green; which has been accompanied by a combination of gloss black and matte black in the rest of the parts and components of the bike and a brown leather seat with diamonds. Elements such as the impressive exhaust with grenade-like tailpipes, the chrome engine covers or the classic Harley Davidson emblems on the fuel tank have given this Sportster Bobber a brutal look.
HOMOLOGATION
The “SPORTSTER ARMY 48” has been fully homologated for Spanish territory (except for the exhaust and air filter) before being delivered to its owner who now enjoys this elegant two-wheeled military steamroller customized by the Lord Drake Kustoms team.
