The “Urbantracker” is one of the best Harley Davidson Scrambler or Street Tracker built in our Harley workshop in Malaga. A custom Harley completely unique, with its own style and without resembling any of the typical scrambler motorcycles seen to this day. A great job of Lord Drake Kustoms on a Harley Davidson Sportster 883 R basis.
How this Harley Scrambler was done
The first thing wanted Fran Manen (owner of LDK) was to get a Harley Davidson Scrambler valid for two people, without losing the charm of the motorcycles transformed previously in our customization workshop. And to achieve this, a back was made with space to house a second seat that was accompanied by a pair of Öhlins shock absorbers for Sportster.
Then we had to work the front of this custom motorcycle and in a KTM workshop in Malaga, we were able to get a WP inverted fork, which gave a radical look to the entire front, which was finished with a floating disc brake, a brake caliper for Brembo motorcycle and spoke wheels. Finally was the mask manufactured by hand in metal with the light incorporated.
Craft exhaust with Supertrapp tail for Harley, custom air filter and a large number of parts and details were added to the set to create this spectacular Harley Davidson Scrambler or perhaps Street Tracker with urban airs.
The final finishing touch in the transformation of this motorcycle was the paint and airbrushing work done on a base of broken white or light beige, which was accompanied by a handmade brown seat.
As result, this Harley Scrambler built and transformed fully in one of the best Harley and custom workshops in Spain, with service approval and ITV motorcycle you customized, upholstery, chrome, remapping Harley, repair and maintenance, etc.
And in 2019 it was driven by Fran Manen at the top of the podium of the Custom Bike Show of the European HOG Rally to collect the European runner-up prize in the category Harley Sportster.

“Seventy” is a custom Harley Davidson that in principle was going to be a Cafe Racer motorcycle (that was the idea of its owner David) and in the end it ended up being a Harley Davidson Scrambler with airs Flat track. The base bike was a Sportster XL 883 low.
From a Harley Cafe Racer to a Harley Scrambler with Flat Track brush strokes
This Harley Davidson Sportster 2005, we bought it in a motorcycle repair shopin Malaga from a friend of ours. So it came practically up to date and as new, without needing to do anything mechanically.
This Scrambler is the second motorcycle we make for this client in our Harley and custom workshop in Malaga. When David spoke with the owner of Lord Drake Kustoms (Fran Manen), he told him that he had the idea of getting a Sportster Cafe Racer to ride on the streets more comfortably than with his other Harley, (a Harley Davidson Softail Deuce customized also by LDK).
But due to the height of the client, they realized that a Cafe Racer was going to be a very uncomfortable one. They decided to do something with more height, like a Street Tracker or Scrambler motorcycle, so that its owner could circulate comfortably.
The inspiration in the Martini Racing Team of the late 70s
We decided to be inspired by the designs of the race cars and rallies of the 70s. “Martini” was one of the most famous sponsors at that time and gave his vehicles a particular stylish-look with its three-band color designs: blue, light blue and red.
The transformation of this motorcycle was done in record time, since once the project started we came up with the idea of presenting it to the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Buildingin 2018. The registration was about to end, so it was time to run and spend hours without sleep to finish the job on time.
Modifications made to the original Harley Davidson Sportster
A were installed handmade flat fiber track colin, fuel tank and front fenders made of metal. Radio tires, installed Vance and Hines RSD trucker leaksFor Sportster, K&N air filter, BMX type handlebar, etc.
And for the work of painting and airbrushing , graphics and colors were chosen that are reminiscent of those used by the “Martini” brand in many rally and competition cars.
This Harley Davidson Scrambler, built in our motorcycle workshop in Malaga, was in 6th position worldwide (modified Harley category)in the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building held in Germany in 2018.
After the world championship, all the reforms were made with our legalized Homologation and ITV service of motorcycles transformed in Malaga. Once approved, it was delivered to its owner, who now enjoys rolling down the streets and roads of the Costa del Sol, uploaded on his new Harley Davidson Scrambler “Seventy”

The first Yamaha Scrambler coming out of the workshop customizing motorcycles LDK in Spain. On this occasion, we have not chosen a Harley Davidson, nor a BMW or Triumph motorcycle.
“I want to customize a motorcycle, which can be corporate and I want to do it with a Fazer 98.” This is what José (owner of Sixtino Design Labs) told Fran Manen of Lord Drake Kustoms. The customer was clear that he wanted something Scrambler, with taco wheels and the matte green fuel tank. From there, LDK had total freedom to build this project.
How the Yamaha Fazer was customized into a Scrambler
A transformed motorcycle, simple, but well made (less is more) and with very special details; as the rectangular motorcycle headlight and the mask, a touch that has given the motorcycle a lot of personality and with which we have also managed to escape the boredom of the typical 7-inch round headlights or the round headlights with grille.
The rear turn signals have been incorporated into the tubes of the subframe itself, once it was modified. The front and rear suspensions were modified to give a more stylized line to the project.
Regarding the finishes and the paint, this motorcycle has acquired a green military-type tank, with the matte black predominantly in the rest. The brown seat and the detail of the light tinted in yellow have made this motorcycle a very attractive combination that is surprising to people who see it in person. Its own creators did not expect this Scrambler result with a motorcycle like the Yamaha Fazer.
On the Sixtino Design Labs website, there is a phrase that says: “We are passionate about combining innovative ideas with designs that please the eyes.” This phrase has been the basis for this project; It has been innovated using a motorcycle not very common until now in the world of motorcycle customization and has been combined with a design with bases Scrambler and Street Tracker style that has resulted in a Yamaha Scrambler very striking facing to the fans and people who have seen it.

“MARDANIS“, The Wolf King … and his BMW Cafe Racer with Scrambler wheels, just finished in the Lord Drake Kustoms motorcycle customization workshop. A strange mixture is reminiscent of a Cafe Racer motorcycle with Scrambler wheels and very sporty at the same time.
The Wolf King
Sexual debauchery, Christian dresses, eating habits that included alcohol consumption … Mohamed Ibn Mardanis (nicknamed the Wolf King of Murcia) became famous on both sides of the border for his lifestyle and if he had reigned in these times he would probably have ridden this BMW R1200S just finished by Lord Drake Kustoms.
Fran Manen (owner of LDK), received a call from Fernando Cuello in which he commented that they had recommended Lord Drake Kustoms as a suitable company to make his dream come true: A BMW Cafe Racer brutal and unique.
At a later meeting, they finalized the project and finally it was decided to use as a base a BMW R1200S from 2007. Fernando’s indications to Fran Manen to make the motorcycle were clear and strict: matte black and orange, a brutal deposit, Cafe Racer style but with stud wheels and as simple as possible.
Creating the BMW Cafe Racer “Mardanis”
Work began and halfway through the almost finished tank, Francisco noticed that it was too large to paint everything in matt black and that some graphics should be added in orange. He called Fernando to explain and hence the idea of putting a name: “MARDANIS“.
Fernando knew that this custom motorcycle wasn’t very normal in the motorcycle transformation workshops. He was so excited about the project that he decided not to see the motorcycle until it was finished.
Finally, the big day arrived and “MARDANIS” would be presented to its owner for the first time. A group of friends and a spectacular party that would be held on the estate where the ruins of Mohamed Ibn Mardanis “The Wolf King” castle are located in Monteagudo (Murcia).

As always, we have two rules in Lord Drake Kustoms to which we remain loyal: “Always make different bikes” and “Nothing is impossible”. This motorcycle is proof of that. We are tired of always seeing the same custom bikes and especially the same Harley Davidson custom.
