[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Many times, getting out of the ordinary, brings surprising results. This is the case of this Yamaha Fazer Sixtino. A customization job by Lord Drake Kustoms who fled the classic Harley-Davidson or BMW bases. This time it was a 1998 Yamaha Fazer that inspired this bike. A challenge that will not be the first nor the last.

Biker Zone dedicated a five-page report to his number 297.

We leave you, as always, below with the transcript of the report.

YAMAHA FAZER SIXTINO

Lord Drake Kustoms

This time it was not a Harley, a BMW or a Triumph. It was a 1998 Yamaha Fazer, yes, a naked one from the late nineties; that was the motorcycle that Lord Drake Kustoms received from his client.

“I want you to customize a motorcycle, which can be corporate and I want it to be with a 98 Fazer.” This is what José (owner of Sixtino Design Labs) told Francisco de LDK.

-I loved the idea, Ali Manén told us, and the challenge that the base was a motorcycle so little seen and those that do not use for the custom that you see now, that they usually repeat the same model over and over again.

The client was clear that he wanted something scrambler type, with taco wheels and the gas tank in matte green. From there, Lord Drake Kustoms was free to choose the path he wanted.

“I WANTED SOME TYPE SCRAMBLER, WITH TACO WHEELS AND GASOLINE DEPOSIT IN GREEN MATE. FROM THERE, LORD DRAKE KUSTOMS WAS FREE TO CHOOSE “

A work without many difficulties, which may seem simple, but is very well done and with some very special details such as the square headlight and mask, which are what give personality to the bike and have allowed us, in addition, flee from the boring monotony of the typical seven-inch round headlights or the round headlights with grille.

The rear turn signals, once the subframe was modified, were incorporated into the interior of their tubes. The front and rear suspensions of the bike were also modified to give a more stylized line to the whole project.

The green tank of military type, with all the motorcycle in matt black, the brown seat and the detail of the light tinted in yellow has achieved for this this motorcycle a very attractive combination and that surprises everyone who sees it natural and not through a photo, starting with its own creators who did not expect this result with a motorcycle like the Yamaha Fazer.

“SURPRISE EVERYONE WHO SEES IT IN THE NATURAL AND NOT THROUGH A PHOTO, BEGINNING BY ITS OWN CREATORS THAT DID NOT EXPECT THIS RESULT”

On the website of Sixtino Design Labs (http://www.sixtino.com) there is a phrase that says: “We are passionate about combining innovative ideas with designs that please the eyes”. This phrase has been the leitmotiv of this project; It has been innovated using a motorcycle not very common so far in the world of customization and has been combined with a design based scrambler / street tracker, which has resulted in a very eye-catching and showy motorcycle, according to the opinion of all those who have seen it

The owner of LDK, has been so satisfied with this project that he has already started making another bike with the same base (Fazer del 98) but with some surprises and improvements that we will know very soon.
