SPORTSTER S 1250 RH

SPORTSTER S 1250 RH

SPORTSTER S 1250 RH

This is another unit of the new Harley Davidson Sportster S 1250 RH customized by the team of Francisco Ali Manen, owner of Lord Drake Kustoms in his Harley conversion workshop in Malaga (Spain) from where they export custom motorcycles to customers all over the world.

A NEW AIR

Coming from a customer near Lisbon, Portugal, where LDK picked up the bike with its own pick-up and delivery service, this Sportster S arrived totally original and its owner wanted to give it a new look and restyle it to get more out of the features of this Harley Davidson..

MODIFICATIONS

The first idea was to modify the rear, especially the license plate bracket, and to put some kind of screen or dome on it. Fran Manen got to work with his team and the result was a restyling in this Sportster S 1250 RH which has been fitted with a café racer bike screen, a new tracker handlebar, new minimalist LED turn signals and a round LED headlight.

In addition, the odometer has been relocated to the front of the handlebars instead of its original location.

At the rear, the license plate bracket and all the lighting have been modified, and the seat has been upholstered with double red thread in diamond shapes.

BLUE ROTHMANS

But the most significant change in this restyling has been the paint job inspired by the colors of racing cars with graphics of the Rothmans tobacco brand.

OTHER FEATURES

In terms of performance (in addition to aesthetic changes) it should be noted that in this custom bike, the Lord Drake Kustoms team has installed a spectacular complete 2:1 exhaust system from the brand Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde homologated, for the Harley Davidson Sportster S 1250 RH, which in addition to sound regulation has a beautiful carbon fiber manifold protector.

SUPER METEOR 650 TRACKER

From Intruder, the official Royal Enfield dealer in Murcia, they sent us this totally original custom motorcycle that we have converted into the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 TRACKER in our motorcycle conversion workshop in Spain.

A real Royal Enfield

The idea was to create something completely different from the original bike, a fully-fledged custom bike that would attract attention; and to do so, Fran Manen, owner of Lord Drake Kustoms, has been given carte blanche to do whatever he wanted with this Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.

MODIFICATIONS

The first thing we did at Lord Drake Kustoms was to modify the fuel tank, move the foot controls back and fit a BMX or enduro style handlebar to later make two shorter and taller mudguards to define the more off-road line of this Super Meteor 650 with scrambler-style airs.

Motogadget turn signals

The new single-seat has been upholstered in brown to match the grips, a license plate holder with side arm has been manufactured, 3-in-1 lighting has been installed at the rear and Motogadget indicators have been installed at the ends of the handlebars.

Single-seat

Other details of this Super Meteor 650 tracker have been the fairing or dome that has been installed, the LED headlight, the mixed tires, the slightly modified side covers or some nice exhaust pipes that have been adapted to the original manifolds that have been modified.

CANDY RED AND OCHRE

Combining details from a scrambler, supermotard or flat track motorcycle, this custom Royal Enfield has been created in beautiful candy red and metallic ochre yellow colours with black details and graphics.

The result has been an impressive Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 TRACKER that has nothing to do with the original motorcycle that arrived at the Lord Drake Kustoms custom workshop in Malaga (Spain).

VROD MUSCLE 330

VROD MUSCLE 330

VROD MUSCLE 330

This Harley Vrod MUSCLE 330 is a work of Lord Drake Kustoms that has been made in his Harley customization workshop in Malaga (Spain).

On this occasion, the chosen base has been a Vrod Muscle, a Harley Davidson model characterized by a powerful engine designed by Porsche with 122 horsepower.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

This VROD MUSCLE 330 is a mix of BEAUTY and BRUTALITY that leaves everyone with their mouths open. We can say that “Beauty and the Beast” have come together on the same motorcycle.

Fran Manen (owner of LDK) wanted to combine the brutality of a large rear wheel that is very characteristic in transformations of these Harley models with the beauty of a silhouette of elegant curves and nerves and a simple but very attractive paint.

MODIFICATIONS

A 330 Harley rear wheel was chosen (nothing more, nothing less) with custom built RC custom rims and matching brake discs and pulley. Of course, the entire rear end had to be modified, including the swingarm, transmission, etc.

On this Vrod MUSCLE 330, to give more visibility to the tire, a minimalist rear fender has been manufactured to fit the tire thanks to the Legend air suspension for Vrod models.

The rest of the bodywork is made with spectacular lines to give beauty to this beast that initially only stood out for its large 330 rear tire for Harley.

The front fender and its brackets, the seat, the license plate bracket or the exhaust pipes are some of the elements that have also been custom made by Lord Drake Kustoms.

Handlebars, turn signals, mirrors, spoiler, side covers, headlight and endless other parts shape the whole of this Harley Vrod MUSCLE 330.

RED CANDY

This Harley-Davidson Vrod MUSCLE 330 has been finished with a nice candy red paint and gloss black stripes, which has given it a spectacular look.

ROLLING IN KUWAIT

Once finished, it is rolling and making kilometers from the hands of its owner, a client from Kuwait, who besides being a client is a very good friend of Francisco Ali Manen.

Don’t forget that if you want a Harley Vrod MUSCLE 330 or any other custom bike, Lord Drake Kustoms ships and exports bikes to customers all over the world… just get in touch and they will take care of the rest!

Mazinger Z Scrambler

Mazinger Z Scrambler

MAZINGER Z SPORTSTER SCRAMBLER

Fists off! The first “Mazinger Z” motorbike has been built by Lord Drake Kustoms in their Harley Davidson custom bike workshop in Malaga (Spain) where they wanted to pay tribute to the famous series, its robot and of course its creator Gō Nagai by creating this MAZINGER Z tribute bike. This is the scrambler bike that Kōji Kabuto would use for his adventures when he was not riding his famous Mazinger Z robot to fight against Dr. Hell.
Translated with DeepL.com (free version) The first MAZINGER Z bike has been made in Spain, it is a Harley Davidson and has been the work of Francisco Alí Manén and his team at Lord Drake Kustoms based in Málaga and Miami. The famous robot from the popular manga series of the 70’s and 80’s Mazinger Z has been converted into a Sportster Scrambler by Fran Manen (owner of Lord Drake Kustoms)…. Specifically, on a scrambler model called DRAKER 2 (the new Harley Davidson Sportster-based two-person scrambler line recently created by the Spanish bike builder).

BASED ON THE MAZINGER Z ANIME

Mazinger Z is a manga and anime series created by Japanese cartoonist and screenwriter Gō Nagai and first published in 1972. Mazinger Z was the first giant robot manned by a protagonist, and the story is about a group of scientists who have a giant robot at their disposal in their fight against the evil forces of Dr. Hell.

Film personalities such as Guillermo del Toro have admitted to having been inspired by Mazinger Z when creating the film Pacific Rim; or Michael Bay has also stated that the Mazinger Z series has had a great influence on the Transformers franchise; and despite not being a film personality, Fran Manen has also been inspired by this series that made him dream in his childhood (as well as thousands of children around the world) and with this work he wanted to pay tribute to the famous robot and its creator Gō Nagai.

MODIFICATIONS

Throughout this process, Fran Manen has played the role of Professor Jūzō Kabuto (the builder of the Mazinger Z in the series) but instead of a robot he has created this Sportster Scrambler. Professor Jūzō Kabuto built Mazinger Z to be ridden by his grandson Kōji Kabuto, and in this case, the owner of Lord Drake Kustoms (Fran) has built a Mazinger on two wheels to be ridden by a very special customer.

Handlebars and tank

On a technical level, this Harley Davidson scrambler is one of the first units of a new production line of sportster scrambler motorbikes created by Lord Drake Kustoms under the name of “DRAKER 2” (because these models have been created for two people) which has used a new rear composed of subframe seat base and wings all incorporated in one piece and built in metal. In this Harley scrambler bike we can highlight components such as Ohlins shocks, custom rims, brake discs, exhaust pipe, front wings and other endless details that will not leave anyone indifferent.

THE COLOURS OF MAZINGER Z

The paint job on this Sportster scrambler is inspired by the colours of the Mazinger Z robot with the front of the bike being the top or head of the robot and the rear being the feet. On the tank is the Japanese name Mazinger Z (マジンガーZ) and the number 72 in reference to the year of the series premiere.

BMW R100 SILVER BULLET

BMW R100 SILVER BULLET

BMW R100 SILVER BULLET

This Cafe Racer called BMW R100 “SILVER BULLET” is another of the BMW transformations that Lord Drake Kustoms has done in his motorbike customization workshop in Velez Malaga (Spain).

AN UNUSUAL CAFE RACER

With this BMW Cafe Racer, the modification concepts have been changed a little and this time we have not opted for off-road knobby tyres, a hanging single seat or enduro-style handlebars, as is usual in the modifications of motorbikes like these that usually have a rather bobber style mixed with touches of scrambler motorbikes.

Francisco Ali Manen, owner of LDK, has opted to make a converted BMW with other details and touches such as half handlebars combined with an almost two-seater seat and wheels with tyres with a rather retro look and a little bit of a knob (almost road).

And the same has been done with the colours, as usually in these BMW R bike conversions the engine is painted in black as well as other components such as the rims.

MODIFICATIONS

The BMW R100 “SILVER BULLET” has combined aspects of wear and tear and the passage of time to give it the vintage look it deserves, combining it with more modern elements such as the small digital odometer motogadget mini or the LED indicators.

HOMOLOGATION

Finally, the team at Lord Drake Kustoms has legalised the modifications carried out on a converted motorbike such as this BMW R100 “SILVER BULLET“, thanks to its own custom motorbike homologation service. Very soon, this BMW Cafe Racer will be circulating and calling the attention of all the passers-by in the streets of Marbella from the hand of its owner.

VROD NIGHTROD 330

Elegant and Brutal could be some of the words we can use to define this VROD NIGHTROD 330 recently customized by Lord Drake Kustoms in his motorcycle modification shop located in Malaga (SPAIN).

ELEGANT AND BRUTAL

Francisco Ali Manén (owner of LDK), received a call from a client from Mexico, who wanted a very special custom bike and after a while of conversation the decision was made that it would be a Harley Davidson Vrod with 330 wide rear wheel kit.

To start with the work, Fran Manen chose a Vrod Nightrod Special, a perfect base for this customization work and which also comes standard with an inverted fork and has a powerful 120 horsepower engine.

MODIFICATIONS

A Harley Davidson wide rear wheel kit has been installed with custom built RC custom rims and 330 wide rear tires.

A new swingarm, transmission offset, shock absorber spacers and a Legend air suspension for Vrod models are other details to note in modifying a Vrod like this one.

Handcrafted seat

Exhausts, license plate brackets, body parts, fenders, seat and a host of other small items are some of the components handcrafted by Lord Drake Kustoms for this VROD NIGHTROD 330.

Also note that the brake discs and drive pulley match the rims… the LED taillight has been integrated into the fender.

The seat upholstery has been done in black with diamond-shaped stitching with gold thread and engraved escutcheons have been added in antiqued brass with the same logo as the airbox cover.

BLACK AND GOLD

The only instructions the customer gave Fran Manen was that this VROD NIGHTROD 330 should be matte black and gold. Fran took the liberty of adding the gloss black to the color palette and began to create the design so that the ribs of the entire bodywork were highlighted and the gold color fit perfectly, without breaking the elegance of this custom Harley Davidson.
Painting detail
It should be noted in the painting and airbrushing of this spectacular modified Harley, its golden lines, the dates with Roman numerals (all of them with a very special meaning) and a beautiful central shield below the odometer of this transformed Vrod that was at the request of the owner.
