At Lord Drake Kustoms, every bike is a work of art on wheels. This time, we present “Stormtrooper”, an imposing 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout transformed into a machine with an aggressive and elegant design, true to the most extreme custom spirit.

The Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout is already, in itself, a motorcycle with a commanding presence and a muscular air. However, at LDK, we take this base and take it to another level, fusing power and style in a completely revamped design.

MODIFICATIONS

From the first glance, the Stormtrooper commands respect. Its minimalist black and white aesthetic creates a strong visual impact, recalling the essence of the legendary imperial soldiers that give it its name.

But this bike is not just about looks; every detail has been meticulously worked out to achieve a balance between design, comfort and performance.

AN AESTHETIC FROM A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY

For this Stormtrooper we used a satin white paint and black details, with matte and gloss finishes that accentuate its character. In addition, black anodized details on controls, handlebars and other components are key to contrast with the white bodywork.

Finally, a myriad of iconographic elements of the Star Wars saga runs through every detail of this custom bike; from Darth Vader ejecting the air filter to a multitude of elements and symbolism of both the Empire and the rebels.

Its engine still roars with all the characteristic power of a Softail Breakout, but with extra attitude thanks to custom exhaust and air filters.

This new customization is based on a classic BMW R100, but the end result is a completely transformed motorcycle, designed for both bobber style lovers and those looking for a scrambler touch with an aggressive soul and imposing stance.

A unique colour scheme mixing military green, matte black and orange lines, accompanied by a minimalist logo that highlights the elegance of this machine.

Vintage brown leather seat:
We replaced the original seat with a classic brown leather design that adds a retro touch and unparalleled comfort.

LIBERATOR

Manufactured at Lord Drake Kustoms’ Harley conversion workshop in Spain, “LIBERATOR” is the new work of motorbike customiser Francisco Ali Manen, and could very well be the custom bike that Captain America is currently riding in one of his films.

A Harley Davidson Softail Fat Boy with twin cam engine transformed as a tribute to the bike of the famous Marvel superhero, who appears with various models of bikes of the legendary American brand in some of his films.

Based on a 1942 WLA

But this new work by Fran Manen and his team at Lord Drake Kustoms Spain is inspired by the WLA model called LIBERATOR from 1942, used by the US Army during World War II and which Captain America rides in the film ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’.

According to Fran Manen (LDK) himself, this could be a street version of the custom motorcycle that the Marvel superhero used; but in his free time, since it has nothing to do in terms of equipment with the original 1942 LIBERATOR that was loaded with details such as ammunition box, leather shotgun case, siren, and countless military support gadgets.

A brutal rear end with 240 wheel and custom rims, Legend air suspension for Harley Davidson softail models, a Supertrapp Paul Yaffe X exhaust system that perfectly reminds us of the barrels of a machine gun (although its sound is louder and deeper).

Medium handlebars, a large custom tank, custom front mudguards are another highlight, as well as the digital odometer Dakota for Harley or the Motogadget indicators on the grips that give a modern touch to this customised Harley called LIBERATOR.

As for the finishes and to give it a more modern touch, the team of Lord Drake Kustoms, has opted for the elegant green tone ‘OAK metallic green’ of Porsche, instead of a matte military green as usual in this type of custom bikes and as details the star that represents the shield of Captain America in gold colour along with a nice seat made to measure and upholstered in brown along with the fuel tank tie and matching cuffs that give the most retro touch of this impressive Harley Davidson LIBERATOR.
