This spectacular custom Harley-Davidson V-Rod was transformed at our Lord Drake Kustoms workshop in Málaga, Spain, striking a balance between aggression, elegance, and exclusivity. It is an all-black motorcycle where pearlescent gold highlights and gold accents emerge in the light, accentuating the lines of its bodywork.

The result is the VROD 240 LH—a muscular, low-slung V-Rod with a very clean aesthetic that retains the unmistakable character of the V-Rod family, yet possesses a completely different personality.

Custom-made bodywork and fenders

One of the keys to the VROD 240 LH lies in its proportions.

The bodywork has been modified and developed specifically for this build, incorporating various custom-made elements. Both the front and rear fenders have been designed to integrate seamlessly with the overall package, creating a much more compact and muscular profile.

At the rear, the fender closely follows the shape of the tire, allowing the rear wheel to take center stage.

That is precisely where part of this build’s name comes from—VROD 240 LH—referencing its impressive rear setup featuring a 240 mm tire.

A measurement that gives the motorcycle a spectacular presence without resorting to extreme dimensions.

Handcrafted seat made for this V-Rod.

The seat has also been completely custom-made.

Its design follows the new bodywork lines and features handcrafted upholstery, including stitching and details that complement the gold tones used throughout the rest of the motorcycle.

At Lord Drake Kustoms, we believe that a custom motorcycle must function as a cohesive whole. That is why elements such as paintwork, bodywork, the seat, wheels, and the exhaust are not designed independently; they are all part of the same concept.

Custom-made handcrafted exhaust system

Another especially important element of the VROD 240 LH is its exhaust system.

For this build, we fabricated a custom exhaust, aiming for a compact, aggressive look that keeps the rear of the bike visually uncluttered.

Its black finish allows it to blend seamlessly with the engine and the rest of the assembly, further reinforcing the dark aesthetic of this “Black & Gold” build.

Headlight and LED lighting

The front part has also been simplified to achieve a much cleaner image.

The VROD 240 LH features an LED headlight and lighting, lending it a modern aesthetic and allowing for the visual reduction of various components.

The goal is once again the same: to eliminate anything unnecessary so that attention focuses on the motorcycle’s forms.

Black, pearlescent gold, and gold accents

Paint plays a major role in this preparation.

The primary color is black, combined with pearlescent gold and various lines, graphics, and small gold details. The aim was not to create an overly flashy motorcycle by using large expanses of gold, but rather to achieve a much more elegant finish.

As the lighting changes, different golden reflections appear on the bodywork, while the graphics help define its lines and accentuate the long, low silhouette of this Harley-Davidson.
