The benefit gala that Antonio Banderas organizes every year at Miami Fashion Week is surrendered to what they called the “King of customization in Miami.”
The charity gala at Miami Fashion Week
Yesterday was a very special night for Lord Drake Kustoms, where two of his custom bikes were auctioned at the charity gala held each year at Miami Fashion Week.
Francisco Ali Manén attended as special guest, representing Lord Drake Kustoms. And not only that, but he brought with him two of his custom bikes to be auctioned in order to raise funds for the Foundation of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and the Lágrimas y Favores foundation, the latter represented by Antonio Banderas.
At one point during the night, he was introduced to the public as the “King of customization in Miami”, a mention of which we are very proud.
Of all the Miami personalities that attended the event, we could of course highlight Antonio Banderas, Emilio Estefan, Juanes (who also offered a live performance) or the designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, among others …
A custom bike in less than 48 hours.
The first motorcycle auctioned was a Harley Davidson Electra Glide Shovelhead 1980. It is a Vintage Classic HD.
But this charity gala has been a challenge for Francisco Alí Manén, as he has had to customize a second motorcycle in less than 48 hours.
It is a Harley Davidson Sportster XL 1200 of the year 2009. It has been customized with a Cafe Racer and Bobber style.
Among the modifications that have been made we can highlight the following:
- Exhaust pipes and air filters.
- Fuel tank.
- Handlebars, handles and levers.
- Front and rear bumpers.
- Front and rear lights.
- Foot controls.
- Painting and coating.
- Odometer and custom supports.
- Metal mesh parts.
- Gas cap.
- Brake discs.
- Front suspension.
- Rear shock absorbers.
A challenge to the clock and that however has caused a great sensation in such an important event.
