Today the voting begins at the AMD World Championships of Customized Motorcycle Builders 2018 (AMD World Championship) and we want to better understand what has been the process of creating our latest motorcycles “SPORTSTER” and “SEVENTY”.
Well, both were created from the Sportster 883 model of Harley Davidson. This line of motorcycles was created by the famous brand from 1957.
We leave you some images before-after so that they compare.
This championship, which has been held since 2004, brings together the best custom bikes on the planet and is developed in six categories: Freestyle, Modified Harley-Davidson, Retro/Modified, Cafe Racer and Street Performance. Lord Drake Kustoms already obtained the last edition 2016 the 5th position in the modified Harley category with “Envy”.
This year we participated with two spectacular bikes in the same category: “Seventy” and “Speedster”. We leave you with some images of these two bikes:

We are already in Cologne enjoying this international fair.
¡Stay tuned and cross your fingers for this Sunday!
Lord Drake Kustoms will be present at the EUROPEAN H.O.G. RALLY 2017, that will be in Lugano (SWITZERLAND) from June 29 to July 2.
In addition, LDK will compete in the 2017 European Bike Show (to be held in the event, Friday June 30) for the title of the best modified Harley of Europe (Big Twin category) with “ENVY” and probably will compete with another second motorcycle in the Sportster category.
Remember that in the edition celebrated in 2015, LDK raised two titles in the same bike show: European Champion and Sub-champion in the Sportster category respectively.
As you will see in the photos, this is what is left of the new BMW R1100S we are customizing: the engine!
That engine is waiting impatiently to mount the rest of the body and very soon, another beast of two wheels will be able to see the light of the hand of Lord Drake Kustoms. We will combine elements of cafe racer with scrambler to result in an urban tracker that will not go unnoticed.
The previous BMW was “MARDANIS”, this will be? … a Beast!
