Some bikes are designed by hand. Others, by the soul. The Indian Scout 240 Neoracer has not only been featured worldwide in specialized media, but has also become a modern icon of European custom. Today we tell you how one of Lord Drake Kustoms’ most radical creations came to be.
It all started with a challenge
Fran Manen, founder of LDK, received a special assignment:
“I want an Indian Scout that looks like something out of the future, but with a café racer spirit.”
The result was a unique project that fuses the retro with the avant-garde, respecting the essence of Indian Motorcycles but taking it to a completely new level.
Design and manufacturing: every detail counts
What makes it different:
240 rear tire: an aesthetic and functional beast.
Handcrafted single-sided swingarm, created from scratch.
Adjustable air suspension.
GP type exhaust.
Hand-sculpted tail and tank, integrated with surgical precision.
Encapsulated LED headlight and “race number” type front.
Nothing on this bike is stock. Everything has been customized in the LDK workshop.
International recognition
The Neoracer has been featured in over 50 international media outlets, including:
Pipeburn (Australia)
BikeExif (USA)
Kustom Garage Magazine (Italy)
Biker Zone (Spain)
Custombike (Germany)
It has even been nominated among the 10 best custom bikes of the year on several international platforms.

Do you know what types of custom motorcycles there are? If you’re thinking about converting your bike or buying a finished custom one, you’ve probably come across terms like café racer, bobber, or scrambler. But do you really know what differentiates them? At Lord Drake Kustoms, we’ve been shaping these unique machines for over a decade, and today we’ll explain each style and how to choose the one that’s right for you.
Café Racer: Classic style, fast spirit
Born in the 1950s in the United Kingdom, café racers are lightweight, stylish motorcycles designed for racing from bar to bar (hence their name). They are characterized by:
Flat seat or “monoposto” type tail
Low clip-on handlebars
Minimalist aesthetic, often with elongated tank
Aggressive and sporty driving position
Ideal for lovers of retro style with a sporty spirit.
Bobber: Radical simplicity and American essence
This style became popular in the US after World War II. Bobbers strip away all unnecessary elements to leave the bike as “clean” as possible:
Chopped fenders (hence the term “bobbed”)
Single seat, often spring type
Wider wheels and relaxed stance
Horizontal lines and old school look
Perfect for those looking for attitude and rawness on two wheels.
Scrambler: Off-road versatility with a vintage soul
Scramblers are designed for those who don’t want the boundaries between asphalt and dirt. They’re the perfect blend of classic and wild:
Mixed or studded tires
High exhaust
Reinforced suspensions
Rugged style and prepared for any terrain
Your choice if you like retro, but also like to get dirty off-road.

Lord Drake Kustoms is proud and internationally recognized! Our spectacular VROD NIGHTROD 330, one of the most brutal and elegant transformations to ever come out of our workshop, was recently featured in the British newspaper The Sun’s motoring section.

Last weekend, Lord Drake Kustoms had the honor of participating in the prestigious Custom Bike Show at the Eurofestival 2025 held in Saint-Tropez (France), one of the most important events in the European biker calendar.
There we competed with two of our creations, and “BULTRACKER 05”, one of our latest custom Harley-Davidson, managed to win second place in the “SPORT” category. A prize that tastes even better considering the high level of the motorcycles presented and the first class jury that evaluated every detail.
But if there was one thing that made this recognition even more special, it was the presence among the judges of Karen Davidson, daughter of Willie G. Davidson and great-granddaughter of one of the founders of Harley-Davidson. An icon of the Harley universe and ambassador of its legacy, she personally appreciated the work done on our bike.
This second place is a source of great pride for the entire Lord Drake Kustoms team and is another proof that a job well done, creativity and passion for motorcycles are rewarded.
From here we would like to thank the organization of the Eurofestival, all the attendees, and of course, our customers and supporters, who are always our best engine to move forward.
See you on the next road… or at the next Bike Show!
