Harley-Davidson’s legendary V-Rod family has always been synonymous with power and cutting-edge design, but in the hands of Fran Manen, it has reached a new aesthetic dimension. The VROD 260 OCTOPUS is not just a motorcycle; it’s a statement on wheels that fuses high-performance engineering with the art of aggressive customization. With this new creation, Lord Drake Kustoms once again demonstrates why it is a global leader in motorcycle transformation, achieving a perfect balance between an imposing presence and undeniable sporty elegance.

BASED ON A VROD VRSCA

This stunning custom build takes as its starting point an original Harley-Davidson VRSCA V-Rod, the iconic model produced between 2002 and 2006 that broke the mold for the Milwaukee brand with its water-cooled Revolution engine. Keeping the heart of that beast, LDK has stripped the bike of its classic, stately early 2000s appearance—characterized by its disc wheels and chrome finishes—to give it a completely new, much more muscular and contemporary look, transforming an occasional touring bike into a true asphalt predator.

MODIFICATIONS

The engineering and modification work is extensive and detailed. The first thing that catches the eye is the imposing 260mm rear wheel, which gives this project its name and required a precise adaptation of the rear suspension. The original subframe has been replaced with a much shorter and more minimalist one, topped by a sharply designed single-seat tail section and a custom-made diamond-patterned seat.

At the front, a new lower fairing (spoiler) has been installed that hugs the radiator and a more modern-style headlight, while the flat handlebars and inverted mirrors under the controls visually clean up the top line of the bike.

The paintwork and finishing touches are the hallmark of the OCTOPUS. Abandoning the standard silver frame and chrome, Lord Drake Kustoms has opted for a total black (Black-Out) for the engine, frame, and exhaust system, which now boasts a short, aggressive design. Against this dark base, a vibrant white and orange color scheme stands out on the faux fuel tank and tail section, inspired by racing livery. BULTRACKER 05

“BULTRACKER 05” this is the name of the new and spectacular work of the Spanish customizer Fran Manen and his company Lord Drake Kustoms that return to conquer the top in the world of Harley customization with a new European Subchampionship just achieved a few days ago.

The BULTRACKER 05 is the result of taking to the highest level the new line of Harley Davidson Sportster based scrambler motorcycles that the Spanish motorcycle builder Francisco Ali Manén (owner of Lord Drake Kustoms) created some years ago.

And as icing on the cake this bike has been finished just in time to go to compete at the Custom Bike Show Harley Davidson EUROFESTIVAL held in Saint Tropez (France) on May 9, where he stood on the podium in second place in the Sport category. Fran Manen received the award directly from the owner of Harley Davidson (Karen Davidson) who already knew the work of Fran and team in LDK from past editions.

BASED ON A SPORTSTER 883

The BULTRACKER 05 has been manufactured in the workshop of Harley transformations and custom bikes that Lord Drake Kustoms has in Velez-Malaga (Spain) using for it a Harley Davidson Sportster 883 of injection of the year 2009.

This harley scrambler can be used not only to ride on rails or dirt tracks and curvy mountain roads, but also on the highway, the streets of a big city and why not? to ride on beaches due to its casual, urban and fresh look.
